With a strong foundation in economics and finance, he offers a disciplined, strategic approach to property ownership, investment performance, and long-term asset stewardship.
Michael began his career in banking as a credit analyst, where he developed deep expertise in financial analysis, risk assessment, and decision-making—skills that continue to inform his work with property owners today. He has since spent over a decade as a Licensed New Mexico Real Estate Broker, with extensive experience throughout Northern New Mexico and a nuanced understanding of its unique markets.
In 2019, Michael founded Desert Casitas LLC, managing and overseeing vacation rental properties in Santa Fe and Ruidoso. His hands-on experience in property management and hospitality ensures homes are maintained to the highest standards while maximizing owner returns and guest satisfaction.
A lifelong New Mexican, Michael is deeply connected to the region and passionate about sharing its culture, landscapes, and character with both residents and visitors. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, skiing, and travel, drawing inspiration from the outdoors that continue to shape his appreciation for New Mexico’s enduring appeal.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Mathematics from St. John’s College, Santa Fe, NM, further enriching her analytical and strategic thinking skills. She is also a classically trained chocolatier and a lover of all things culinary!
