Welcome to Tres Puertas (Three Doors), where you can enjoy a classic Santa Fe experience. The home has an illustrious history and is a State of New Mexico registered cultural property. This exceptional example of Territorial architectural style was built in the 1880’s by Juan Holmes, a Santa Fe County sheriff, when the West was wild. Authentic adobe and beautifully renovated, this is the perfect downtown location, just three blocks from the Plaza with its museums, restaurants, shopping, and art galleries scattered at the Plaza and Canyon Road.

You will find a light and bright living room with high ceilings, a stunning kiva fireplace and beautiful works of art. Skylights adorn the comfortable dining room and well-appointed kitchen that has new stainless steel appliances, authentic Talavera tile, and all the cooking equipment you will need to create and serve a delicious meal. The spacious master suite includes a king size bed, television, its own kiva fireplace and a beautifully tiled bathroom with walk-in shower. The guest bedroom includes a queen-sized bed beneath viga ceilings, television, and its own bathroom with tub/shower combination, and laundry facilities. The home is air-conditioned and has wood and Saltillo tile floors throughout. Lovely, private, and spacious courtyards are shaded with mature landscaping. The comfortable furniture, gas grill, dining table, and brick pavers invite a wonderful outdoor dining and entertaining experience. This 1,579+ square foot home includes two off-street parking spaces.
Tres Puertas sits in an older established neighborhood, just 3 blocks northeast of Santa Fe’s historic downtown plaza. It’s a five minute stroll to a myriad of fine dining establishments, museums, fine art galleries and a shopper’s paradise of original boutiques. Seasonally, the Plaza is home to several famous international artist markets including Indian Market and Spanish Market. Canyon Road, famous for its historic adobe architecture and over 100 fine art galleries in a half-mile stretch, is a few blocks southeast of the home. Outdoor adventure abounds, with the Santa Fe Ski Basin only 12 miles up the mountain. In minutes, you are surrounded by the Santa Fe National Forest with its glorious hiking trails and opportunities for fishing, biking, and aspen vistas. The world class Santa Fe Opera is located 10 miles north.     I really liked Tres Puertas. The condo it’s self has really nice features and is very comfortable for up to two couples. I was staying there for four weeks and had multiple guests during that time and we all had enough privacy and space. My only concern about is the unit was in that as a dog friendly here at the front of the complex is on a very busy corner.. As long as I was very careful about people coming in and out the front door it was fine and there is of coarse a nice enclosed area along the side of the house. It is very convenient to the plaza— it’s just a great plus and I walked in to town every day. I would read this again knowing I would need to be careful about the front door and my puppy. The management company was very responsive and took care of things in a timely fashion

    My family cannot say enough great things about this house! Truly a jewel in the heart of Santa Fe. There is nothing this house does not have, from its well-appointed kitchen,impeccable furnishings, gallery-style artwork, sparkling bathrooms, cozy kivas and soaring skylights! Seriously, you will not want for anything in this house! And did I mention location? An easy 2.5 blocks from the heart of downtown.
